Why is my RV fridge not cooling?
Common causes are a failed cooling unit, a blocked rooftop vent, poor ventilation, or the fridge not being level enough to circulate properly.
What's that neon yellow residue near the back of my fridge?
That's often ammonia crystallization from a leaking cooling unit — a sign the cooling unit needs replacing, not just cleaning.
Can you repair the fridge without replacing the whole unit?
Depends on what's failed — a control board or heating element is a straightforward repair; a leaking cooling unit means replacement.
Why does my fridge work on electric but not propane (or vice versa)?
Usually points to one side's ignition, fuse, or element, not the fridge as a whole — we test both circuits separately.
My 12V freezer is working but the fridge isn't?
