RV Air Conditioner Repair & Maintenance

A rooftop A/C that won't cool turns a summer camping trip into a rough one fast. We diagnose and repair RV air conditioners and heat pumps on-site — no need to break camp or find a shop. It's easy to forget about your furnace while you're running the A/C all summer — but check it before the cold weather hits so you're not caught with a furnace that won't fire up.

We service Coleman, Dometic, and Furrion units, plus more, including Easy Start soft-start installs, thermostat replacement, and air conditioner coil cleaning. Most calls are same-day or next-day when you're in our home area around Blairsville.

Signs you need our RV A/C Service

• A/C runs but doesn't cool
• Unit cycles on and off rapidly
• Water dripping inside the RV air conditioner
• Loud rattling, grinding, or banging from the rooftop unit
• Breaker trips when the A/C starts
• Musty smell when the A/C runs

FAQs:

Why is my RV A/C blowing warm air?

Most often a failing compressor, a refrigerant issue, or dirty coils restricting airflow.

What is an Easy Start and do I need one?

It reduces the startup power draw of your A/C, letting it run on a smaller generator or lower-amp shore power connection — worth it if you run on generator often or feel like your A/C kicks a breaker. It can also prolong the life of your A/C.

Can you fix a leaking rooftop A/C unit?

Yes — most rooftop leaks trace back to a failed gasket, a clogged weep hole, a misplaced freeze sense, or a dirty coil which in turn ices up.

How long does A/C repair take?

Most repairs are done in one visit; if a part needs ordering we'll tell you while on the job.

Do you service both rooftop A/C and heat pumps?

Yes, including Coleman, Dometic, GREE, GE, Houghton, and Furrion units.
