RV Furnace Repair & Maintenance

A furnace that won't light or won't blow warm air is more than an inconvenience — in a North Georgia winter it can mean a frozen water line before you know it. RV Tech & Inspect diagnoses and repairs RV furnaces on-site, no towing and no shop wait. This can sometimes be caught before you need it by testing the furnace when the heat is still there during the day (when you need the air conditioner) but the furnace or heat pump is needed at night. That's called Fall y'all! Not soon after Fall comes the cold creeping in and if you don't live in the RV fulltime, be sure to Winterize it before it gets down to freezing.

We work on circuit boards, blower motors, and sail switches on Dometic and Suburban furnaces, plus more. Whether it's a no-light fault, a blower that runs but produces no heat, or a full unit replacement, we bring the parts and tools to your RV wherever it's parked — campground, storage lot, or home.

Signs you need our RV Furnace Service

• Furnace runs but blows cold or lukewarm air
• Furnace won't ignite, or clicks repeatedly without lighting
• Burning or excessive dust smell when it kicks on
• Thermostat calls for heat but nothing happens
• Louder-than-normal blower noise or rattling
• Propane smell near the furnace compartment (turn off and call immediately)

FAQs:

Why won't my RV furnace light? Usually a bad sail switch, a dirty connection, or low propane pressure — we diagnose the exact cause on-site rather than guessing.

How much does RV furnace repair typically cost? It depends on the part — a circuit board or blower motor repair costs far less than a full furnace replacement, which is why we always diagnose before quoting.

Can you repair furnaces from any brand? We work on Dometic, Suburban, Furrion, and most other major RV furnace brands.

Do you carry furnace parts with you? We stock the most common parts on our service vehicle, so many repairs are done same-visit.

How often should an RV furnace be serviced? Once a year, ideally in early fall before you actually need heat.

"Our 5th wheel furnace went out Saturday night. We called Patrick at RV Tech & Inspect on Monday morning. Left a message and he called me back and came to our RV in a couple of hours and diagnosed and fixed our furnace in less than two hours. Very professional and this was all done remotely as I live 80+ miles away. His prices are reasonable and he is honest. He's now my goto guy for anything RV. I highly recommend him. A++++ We're lucky to have an awesome RV Tech local to Blairsville GA! Thanks Patrick!"
