Did you know that the propane bottle storage door or cover is not supposed to be locked. That’s why the doors do not have a lock on them. This is for safety reasons. If there is ever a fire in the RV due to propane or you smell propane, you need to be able to run outside and cut the propane off - FAST! If the door is locked, you do not have the option to unlock it fast. This is considered a Life Safety issue.
